When a young person finishes cancer treatment, they are often left with fewer friends, their education suffers, and their mental wellbeing dips. Adjusting to this 'new normal' can be extremely difficult, and their future feels uncertain.
The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust takes young people aged 8-24 on sailing and outdoor adventures to inspire them to believe in a brighter future living through and beyond cancer. Players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised over £4.7 Million to support this cause, so we want to say thank you for helping young people feel more accepted, independent and optimistic!
